今日はトリイソース休業日。浜松地域情報センターで社員向けパソコンのエクセル講習会。お金がないので講師は社長自身が昔の杵柄を利用して。これで少しは社員に恩返しできたような。。。
Torii Sauce manufacturing factory does not run on Saturday. The company held the MicroSoft Excel training seminar for the company staff this morning.

今日は午後からトリイソース社員の半分で花の舞酒造の工場見学に伺いました。酒造りの工程を最初から最後まで実際に見ることなど滅多にない機会で且つこの時期が大吟醸を仕込んでいる最中でもあることから期待大でお邪魔しましたが、嬉しいことに大吟醸の絞りたてを試飲することができました。こんなお酒は瓶詰めすると味が変わるので、本当に蔵でないと飲めない一品とのことで非常に感激致しました。また５S実施やお客様ごとのラベル印刷といった細かい対応のオペレーション等非常に勉強になりました。
Half of Torii Sauce staffs visited Hananomai Japanese-Sake brewery this afternoon. Quite rare to see the entire process of brewing sake. We were very lucky enough to sip the freshly squeezed Daiginjo Sake made from the most refined rice. Also many examples to leverage in 5S activities and made-to-order labelling sysytem.

昨日は静岡銀行主催のアグリコムという展示会に出展しました。予想以上の来客数に名刺がなくなる等失態もありましたが、よい勉強となるまた今後につながる機会でした。
We participated in the exhibition "agricom" organized by Shizuoka Bank yesterday. More guests than expected stopped by our booth and showed their interest in our worcestershire sauce. Though we could not pass our name cards to all the guests, a lot of lessos learned from this opportunity. Good move.

2月16日は平日にも関わらずトリイソース１５年ぶりの社内旅行に出かけました。訪問先は岐阜県揖斐郡にある株式会社タニサケ。ここはゴキブリだんごを作っている会社ですが、それよりも日本一の改善提案件数（社員一人当たり）で有名です。そちらの工場内には驚きの連続！帰りには近くの池田温泉に寄ってつるつるの肌になってきました。世間的には平日をお休みするのは非常識とも思われますがが、優れた会社の工場を見ようとすると平日しか開いていないのも常識。今回は一日の商売を潰してでも行く価値のある工場見学でした。これでトリイソースの工場も一段と綺麗に効率的になります。
Breaking 15 years inactivity, we had a company trip to Gifu on Friday Feb.16. It was not just a fun trip but really meaningful factory tour at Tanisake wherer they manufacture cockroch-killer tablets with 30 employees. This company was famous as the No.1 Kaizen votes # in Japan. Impressed a lot with their efforts to make the company better.

イトーヨーカ堂の浜松宮竹店でソースの促進販売会をやりました。週末は家族連れのお客様が多く、より多くの方々にトリイソースの存在を知って頂き嬉しかったです。

We launched the Torii Sauce sales promotion at Ito Yokado in Hamamatsu. The event went well with a lot of customers stopping by our booth and checking our sauce taste.

17名の方々が工場見学にトリイソースを訪れてくれました。やはり主婦の視点は鋭い！核心に迫るような質問を受けましたが、メーカーとして真摯にソースを製造している実情を理解して頂いたのではないかと思っています。

We had 17 guests from Nunohashi Community Women Club for Torii Sauce factory tour. Contrast to ordinary factory tours with school children, we were thrilled but enjoyed the questions from housewives, most of the guests this time, who asked to get to the nitty gritty of our sauce manufacturing process.

Also great thanks to our Torii Sauce staff supporting this factory tour.

新ジャンルへの挑戦というテーマでトリイソースは「ソースからSauceへと分相応の仕掛け（ソース脇役論）」を題目に1時間講演しました。分不相応なところでの講演で緊張しましたが、席を立たずに聞いてくださった方々に感謝です。

解体したボイラーのレンガですが、巷ではアンティークレンガとして有効に使われているというのを聞いて、本日は兵庫より古レンガを回収して頂きました。50年ほど前のボイラーだったので記号や文字が入っているレンガもありました。どこかのお庭で再びお役に立てることを祈って。

Torii Sauce will launch the sales promotion of "Otona Curry Spice" by distributing its samples to people who visit Sala Gas Exhibition tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.

昨晩はどんどこあさばのあぐりレストラン陽だまりで会食をしながら数名による地域ブランドについて意見を交換しました。一木さん、相変わらず食事が美味しかったです。あぐりレストランならでは素朴で郷愁を誘う味は他のレストランと十分差別化できています。加工用トマト、だんご、カレーと課題はたくさん頂いたので一つ一つ解決していきたいと思います。
A group of voluntary members met at Hidamari, agri-restaurant in Fukuroi, to exchange the views on reginal brand incuvation. Although the ideas of new projects came up on the meeting table, my company has to tackle these projects one by one.

今年の夏に実施した技能継承プログラムの体験報告者としてセミナーに参加しました。メインゲストの森先生の講演では、技能をどこまで科学的に検証できるかをわかり易く説きほぐして頂き、大きな収穫でした。自分の発表自体は内容がない中ではそれなりの発表できたのではないかとほっとしています。
I joined the craftmanship transfer seminar as the semi-guest speaker in Hamamatsu. While I learned a lot from Prof. Mori, main guest speaker, in analyzing qualitative abilities scientifically compared to quantitative ones, I was slightly comfortable to my own speech under the condition in which my company did little in progress of craftmanship transfer at this point.

先週末は豊橋のサーラガス展で遠州風お好み焼きを焼きました。たくあん入りは豊橋の方々にはカルチャーショックのようでした。今週末は浜松でガス展があるのでホームで頑張ります

今まで数々のメディア取材を受けていましたが、初めてＮＨＫの取材を受けました。今回は遠州風お好み焼きのプロモーション。遠州風お好み焼きを影で支える企業として取り上げてもらいました。
We had NHK crew members for their news source at our office today. As one of the supporting entities of Enshu Okonomiyaki, Torii Sauce had the interview with NHK for the first time.

浜松市秋の収穫祭で遠州風お好み焼きを静岡文化芸術大学の学生さん達と共同で焼きました。付けるソースはもちろんトリイソースの遠州風お好み焼きソース（やらまいか浜松ブランド認定）。この日は天気にも恵まれ、場所にも恵まれ11時から始まったお祭りで既に午後3時には340枚完売してしました。まだ遠州風お好み焼きマップが完成していないので、この完成を次の目標にしていきたいです。
We collaborated with Shizuoka University of Arts and Culture for promoting the traditional local gourmet, Enshu Okonomiyaki, in the municipal autumn festival. Luck with weather and location, we sold out all 340 pieces of Okonomiyaki within 4 hours. Good start.

本日は西部公民館の児童を迎えての工場見学、工場見学の前にソースに関する簡単な説明をした後、工場内を見学、最後に実際にソースを詰めてみてお土産にソースをお持ち帰りになりました。
We welcomed the group of elementary school boys and girls in the area of Hamamatsu Seibu to our Torii Sauce factory tour. Starting with the informal lecture of Sauce 101, they looked around the different sites and actually tried to fill the sauce in the bottle for their souvenior.
