先週末は豊橋のサーラガス展で遠州風お好み焼きを焼きました。たくあん入りは豊橋の方々にはカルチャーショックのようでした。今週末は浜松でガス展があるのでホームで頑張ります

今まで数々のメディア取材を受けていましたが、初めてＮＨＫの取材を受けました。今回は遠州風お好み焼きのプロモーション。遠州風お好み焼きを影で支える企業として取り上げてもらいました。
We had NHK crew members for their news source at our office today. As one of the supporting entities of Enshu Okonomiyaki, Torii Sauce had the interview with NHK for the first time.

浜松市秋の収穫祭で遠州風お好み焼きを静岡文化芸術大学の学生さん達と共同で焼きました。付けるソースはもちろんトリイソースの遠州風お好み焼きソース（やらまいか浜松ブランド認定）。この日は天気にも恵まれ、場所にも恵まれ11時から始まったお祭りで既に午後3時には340枚完売してしました。まだ遠州風お好み焼きマップが完成していないので、この完成を次の目標にしていきたいです。
We collaborated with Shizuoka University of Arts and Culture for promoting the traditional local gourmet, Enshu Okonomiyaki, in the municipal autumn festival. Luck with weather and location, we sold out all 340 pieces of Okonomiyaki within 4 hours. Good start.

本日は西部公民館の児童を迎えての工場見学、工場見学の前にソースに関する簡単な説明をした後、工場内を見学、最後に実際にソースを詰めてみてお土産にソースをお持ち帰りになりました。
We welcomed the group of elementary school boys and girls in the area of Hamamatsu Seibu to our Torii Sauce factory tour. Starting with the informal lecture of Sauce 101, they looked around the different sites and actually tried to fill the sauce in the bottle for their souvenior.

農業体験での初物。大根の間引いたものを茹でました。大根が最初に細長く伸びてそれから太くなるのを初めて目の当たりにしました。考えてみればもっともか

本日はS料理教室を訪問。これから教室での料理でソースやお酢を使う際にはわが社のソースとお酢を使って頂けることに。まぁ地道なマーケティングをやっていきたいです。
I visited a cooking school in Hamamatsu and had consent that they exclusively use our worcetershire sauce and vinegar during their lessons. a kind of steadly forwarding marketing promotion?

今週から社員向け寺子屋教室開始。初回はソース製造論、食品学総論、会計学。講義は各50分で終わったものの、その準備に前の晩は４時までかかって一苦労。
We started holding in-house lectures from this week, every Saturday morning. There are 3 sessions, worcetershire sauce manufacturing, food science and accounting.

今日はフォーラム２１の定例企業視察会で茶そばの池島フーズを訪問。そばの手打ちの良さを如何に機械で実現するか、その苦労を垣間見ることができました。また掃除の必要性を痛感。一日１時間というのは脱帽。今のトリイソースは１５分。
I joined the bi-monthly site tour held by Forum21 and went to Ikeshima Foods, famaous green-tea noodle manufacuturer, this morning. Impressed with the efforts to reach the hand-made quailty by adopting elaborate machineries. Also spending an hour for the daily facility cleaning is amazing while ours do for 15min/day.

わが社のソース作りを側面から支えてくれたボイラーが壊れたのが今年の5月。巨大なレンガ造りのボイラーは50年以上も前に作られたとのこと。今週末より解体・撤去作業開始。ご苦労様でした。
Our more than 50 year old brick-made boiler ended its life this May and we started scrapping it from this weekend. Thank for its contribution to our sauce manufacturing for half a century.

鳥居食品で醸造している酒粕酢の原料として國香さんの酒粕を使用しています。その蔵元を見学しようということで社員で訪問。松尾社長には懇切丁寧に酒造りの工程を説明して頂きました。古きよき伝統の中で緻密な計算がされており、ソース作りにおいても非常に学ぶことの多い一日でした。
Our staff visited Kokko sake brewery and joined the site tour conducted by its brewer Mr. Matsuo. We use its wine lees as our vinegar ingredient. There are many findings and lessons learned from the tour.

今日は会社のＢＢＱ。楽しく出来ました

ＩＴをあまり活用していないのに商工会議所の会報でＩＴ活用法の欄にトリイソースが掲載されることになった。まぁ2年前のそろばん・手書き伝票･台帳の状態からすれば大いなる進歩かも。
I had an interview for the weekly newsletter of the regional business association in Hamamatsu. Though nothing proud in IT management, there is a little piece of hope that our minimum investment in IT may console anxiety of the managers in small enterprises.

今日はとりどりさんでのパーティーに出席。ホルモン焼きとコケコッコ焼きは美味だった

今日から姪っ子が会社の手伝いに来てくれました。若いと覚えが早い

朝8時より新貝町にて農業体験に参加。前回蒔いた黒豆は元気に育っていた。今日は人参・ごぼう・葱の種を蒔く。非常に日曜の午前が長く感じられました。
My wife and I joined the 2nd workshop of "experiencing agriculture." The tree of black beans have been steadly growing. This time we plowed the new soils and planted the seeds of carrots and green onions.

今日は暑い中、ベテランが集合してトリイソースの技を次世代に伝えるプログラムを進行する。生産性の向上に関してはマニュアル化がもってこいなのだが、微妙なさじ加減的なところが難しいような。
We had the 5th session of the technology-transfer workshop for Torii Sauce this morning. We found developing the manuals/handbook was the way to go in the area of the procedures where technically easy but productivity is low. However there is no clear answer in the area where human wisdom overwhelms in n its operation. mmm.

今日は駿河屋さんのご紹介でご近所の小学生9名が夏休みの課題？？でトリイソースの工場見学に来ました。見学している時間よりも質疑応答の時間が長くなるほど非常に熱心なお子さんばかりで大変感心させられました。
We welcomed 9 children from our neighborhood to our factory tour this morning. Pressured for their summer homework or not???, they are very eager to raise various questions and spent more time for Q&A rather than the actual site tour. There are also many lessons learned from them in our side.

昨日まで4日間夏休み。よく休んだ人、遊びすぎた人様々な社員の顔でしたが、この暑さでの仕事は堪えます。昨日のSBSテレビの反応はぼちぼち。本来ならば悲しまなければならないのが、現状のお酢の供給タイトな状態ではむしろほっとしている状況です。

お酢の製造工程の取材がありました。ＳＢＳの特報４時らで８月１５日火曜午後４時より放映されるそうです。テレビの反響があっても、現在需給逼迫であまり量を出荷できないのが実情。
